It is an image I have elaten in the lead when accomplishment about the America Civil War. The black and neat video is capturing the bloodless passs lying on a battle playing area after the fighting at Gettysburg in 1863. The dasher, Timothy H. OSullivan worked with the well-known photographer, Mathew Brady, to capture images of the Civil War. The reason why I was drawn to this particular photograph, however, is because of the emphasis placed on the soldier lying on his back with his face upwards, pointing slightly towards the camera. His dead expression is v ery chilling. Another thing that drew me to this photograph is that you can see in the distance, the abundance of dead bes scattered across the war stricken field of operations which added to the chilling mood of the photograph.

This painting is save chilling to me, however it portrays a diff erent esthesis of risk of infection and st! ruggle than the disposition of defeat that I got from the photograph of the decease caused by the Battle at Gettysburg. Here you can see there is a crew of men who bearing to be stuck or impel and twisted onto an ice structure. There are men who have been thrown glum their ship or boat, who go down hurt in the snow along with various items that were thrown off the ship as well.
